How we run forestry projects

Offline-first, minimal process change, EU-built. Our background: forestry, not the office.

Our background

Svare Digital's founder Sven Brantjes grew up around forestry. Sawmills around the corner, hands-on with operators on the shop floor, a feel for how roundwood administration really works. Not on paper, but in everyday practice. That sounds sentimental, but it is purely practical: someone who knows the shop floor builds different software than someone who only knows that floor from a screen.

We get the difference between the SOP and what actually happens on the shop floor. We know operators have their own workarounds, that those routes are sometimes smarter than the protocol, and that software which ignores that reality is no longer used within six months. That knowledge sits in every choice we make: from the interface to the offline capabilities to the way we run an implementation.

"We grew up with sawmills that lasted generations without software. We are not replacing them. We are making them better."

Our principles

Offline-first

The shop floor does not always have internet. Software that works offline wins. Sync when the signal returns: no lost data, no blocked workflows.

Minimal process change

We adapt software to your process, not the other way around. You already have something that works. We don't replace it, we strengthen it. Less resistance, faster adoption.

EU-built

Our code stays in Europe. Our hosting stays in Europe. No unexpected data export to third countries. That is not a marketing choice. It is an architecture choice.

Productised where possible

We reuse Bosbouw Digitaal as the base. Faster live, lower cost, easier to maintain. Custom only where it really matters.

What our projects typically cost

Our prices are public. No surprises after the fact, no sales process with three steps.
